The Rock Cycle !
The rock cycle is a never ending process that rocks go though to change form!
The Rock Cycle~What you're seeing on your left is a diagram of the rock cycle. Here is an example of the rock cycle. This cycle starts with an igneous rock that gets eroded so much that it falls from where it's sitting. The igneous rock falls close by a small river stream. It is now sediment. The sediment slowly get pushed by wind and water into the stream. Now the sediment is going through deposition, compaction, and cementation. Soon it becomes a newly formed sedimentary rock. Now the sedimentary rock has been moved downstream. It's buried itself really deep below the earths surface and, now it has lots of heat and pressure on it. It turns into a newly formed metamorphic rock. However it's still really deep under the earths surface and getting deeper. Finally it falls into magma. As it gets melted into magma the rock gets rush down the magma stream. Now it's under the volcano. Then the volcano erupts it goes bursting out and it's lava quick hardens. Now the newly formed igneous rock lands really close to a stream on a little hill. Waiting for the rock cycle to happen again!
